We all know that being physically fit has numerous health benefits---especially in the bedroom.
Ever notice your partner wanting to get it on after he or she exercises? That's because exercise stimulates the release of sex hormones! After we’re done working out our mood is elevated, the heart rate and blood pressure are lower, stress is down and the mood is elevated making us primed and ready for some serious love making!
Personally I prefer a good shower before all of that goes down, but don't be surprised if your lover disagrees! Those sexual pheromones, that can drive our guy or gal wild, get some serious exposure when we sweat.
Exercise also releases Endorphins, our feel good hormones, that are natural pain and stress fighters which are. Our body makes natural opiates.
It isn't necessary to get all crazy with our fitness program just to reap the benefits of better sex. After all, 10% of the population has orgasms during a simple work out! Ah yes, that dreaded ab workout may have some surprise benefits that could be quite titilating. A "coregasm"can be experienced by any age or gender although it is more common with women and male athletes.
If we like to kick it up a notch inside the bedroom and crave a love making style that's more like sexercise! Regular gym activities like, weight training, yoga and cardio help increase endurance, sustainability and flexibility for all those fun sex positions we like to do (or have always wanted to try)!
But it’s not just the body that benefits…so does the mind.
The mind and body are a package deal, whether we like it or not and exercise causes us to mentally feel better about ourselves while increasing our self-esteem. It makes us feel more desirable and attractive. So, if we’re crunched for time during the week with only a few moments to spare and the choices are going shopping, drinking or exercising to make us feel better, sexier and more attractive…go for the fitness first.
